Dr. Reichman came in today after lunch to check on Courtney. He said she was doing great! She is going to be transferred out of ICU to the regular floor some time today. He then surprised me and said that she may be able to go home TOMORROW!!!! Wow, I was not ready for that! It is almost scary to think about going home so soon. :S We both like the security of knowing that a nurse is right there just in case we need it. I asked Courtney how she feels about going home and she said the same thing. Just think, it has only been 4 days since her surgery. That is a miracle in my mind. :)
On another happy note, we heard that the other girl with the AVM surgery is getting some feeling back on the side that was paralyzed. That is wonderful news!
Courtney is looking forward to having visitors. I know it cheers her up knowing that others are thinking about her! We will keep you posted with the latest news. Holly :)

I am so happy to hear of all your progress. I feel so lucky to have been with your Mom and Dad when you came out of surgery. The look on their faces was priceless to know that their precious daughter would be all right. Your family loves you so much and so do we. Keep up the progress and keep smiling. We love you!!! :)
Hey Court! I am glad to hear things are going so well! You have such a great attitude and you are such a strong girl! I don't think I could be that strong. You are truly a miracle! I am so glad that I am related to you. (You are my blood-niece you know!:-)) Your blood-cousins wanted me to tell you hi & get well soon. I'm happy you will be coming home sooner than expected. This is really fantastic news! I can't believe that you are doing so well they might release you tomorrow! I know it is because so many people love you and have been praying for you. That, and you're a strong girl. ;) Good luck with the rest of your recovery. Kinley prayed for you last night. "Bless Courtney that she would heal fast and not hurt and not frow up." :D

We are so glad to hear that you are doing well! My mom and I will definately come see you in the hospital, that is if you are there long enough to visit! :) We are very glad to hear that you could be coming home soon though! This is great news. Now we can come see you, either way. I am so happy things are going so well. Courtney is a fighter and has so much faith I knew she would be home soon. I'm with you Holly, going home after 4 days is scary!
